  • Now, kidneys of your baby can produce urine and it gets released into the amniotic fluid. The liver of your baby starts producing bile. Congratulations, your baby is preparing for life outside the womb.
  • It is now possible to hear the baby’s heartbeat with a doppler. A woman may choose to purchase a doppler for home use. But in case, you don’t find the heartbeat of your baby right away, do not worry because it can take several tries to get hear the baby’s heartbeat.

You are likely to experience some changes in your pregnancy symptoms at 14 weeks which include-

  • Less noticeable breast tenderness
  • Reduced morning sickness
  • Increased energy
  • Continued weight gain

Nausea-
While some women experience morning sickness throughout their pregnancy, nausea becomes a less serious cause of concern for some as the second trimester starts. So you may still have to be prepared for an unexpected rush to the bathroom.

If your feelings of nausea seem particularly severe and you are finding it difficult to your stomach then rush to your doctor to make sure that both of you are getting enough nutrients.

Take full advantage of your energetic body now. Go for a walk in morning or evening. If your energy peaks in the afternoon or evening, then do some exercises or yoga to feel refreshed.

If you feel stressed, get as much rest as your daily life allow.

If certain smells such as pickles or vinegar make your pregnancy symptoms like nausea worse, then it is better to avoid such things for now.
